                In Norse mythology, a Vörðr is a warden spirit, believed to follow from birth to death the soul of every person.

Built to get you where ever you are going at whatever pace you choose on whatever surface you come up against. From day trips to unsupported continent crossings, Vörðr will be your guardian.

 

Sharing its core DNA with the award winning Valrvn platform, the Vörðr's head angle has been increased to 69º degrees and uses a stem length of 60mm for ultimate cruising comfort whilst still being able to tackle moderately technical trails with a high degree of safety. Vörðr continues with Rå's handling philosophy that the frame is the key element in a bike fit and the stem as a core part of the bikes handling character should not be used to adjust the fit of the bike.  

The frames Stack has been increased for a more upright position ideal for consecutive long days in the saddle.

Oversized seatstays and a heavier tube set all around add strength and reliability for loaded adventures over the roughest terrain. 

​

Custom fit ultra strong racks mean an easy fit and removal with rattle free traveling. They can be tailor made to suit your luggage requirements out of 316 stainless steel or for a 20% weight saving 4130 Chromolly. Using only the minimum number M6 hardware required to increase reliability and strength. Or for the weight weenies Aluminium is also an option at nearly half the weight of stainless.

Optional Stainless steel mud guards fitted to the bike during the build with integrated hardware ensure a perfect and secure fit with no rattling for the journey ahead .

With a 68mm BB width to maintain the narrow Q-Factor found on road cranksets for long distance comfort and efficiency. Even so there is still room for a  700c / 29er - 2.2" / 55c tyre, ensuring the most efficient rolling and best comfort when you are faced with anything other than perfect tarmac. Or with a wider 73mm BB and MTB width cranks even wider tyres can be used.

Can be supplied as frame only or as a complete or partial build.
